I love doing my daughters hair, most days.
The 19 month old doesn't have much so she gets the same piggy tails in the back every day.
The 4 year old has a nice, full head of hair and she wants it out of her eyes, so sometimes I experiment with hairstyles. Most of the time I just copy all the cute hairstyles I see around me from my talented mom friends.
This one I did all on my own…
To accomplish this cute hairstyle you first need to know how to create a Flip Over Knot.
1. Pull the amount of hair you want into a ponytail.
2. Using your comb, with pointy end, part the hair.
3. Push the hair over and through the parted section.
4. Pull it tight.
Now that you know how to create one Flip Over Knot, it's time to add a few more and create The Triple Flip Over Knot with a Flip Under Knot.
1. Part your daughters hair to the side.
2. Create 2 flip over knots on one side, and 1 flip over knot on the other.
3. Pull all the hair into a ponytail.
4. With the knot in the back flip it the opposite way.
Flip the hair under and push it through.
Admire your creation!
When my daughters hair still looks this good after a day of playing outside in the heat and wind I consider it a successful hairstyle!
