Right now Emily and I are probably sitting on a sand covered beach, soaking up the rays, sipping on a cold beverage without a care in the world.
Well. Okay not really.
We're probably handing out juice boxes, washing sand out of someone eyes, telling a whining child that no they cannot take their floatie off, or chasing after a toddler determined to drown herself.
BUT. We're still on the beach. And that is all that matters.
So we decided it would be fun and easy to share some of the posts we published on our personal blogs after we went to the beach last year. We'll be sharing them all week! You can look at our old memories while we make some new ones :)
Sunday was a pure beach day. Well, pool and beach day. The location of the pool was perfect. We stopped there on the way to the beach. Then we stopped there on the way back from the beach.
Jumping is a must.
Little Miss was so sweet so sit in the stroller and chew on the straps until we went to the beach.
Mack Attack is a pro shell hunter.
The Spam crashed on the beach this day for probably at least an hour.
But not JJ. He swam and hunted for shells with Brice and B-man nonstop.
And Little Miss played in the water for a few minutes. But spent the rest of the beach day in the porta crib. As a pillow for Kimi. Emily has those cute pics.
She fell asleep exhausted every time I put her in her bed back at the house instantly the whoooole trip.
Another FUN day at the beach.
I don't remember which day. Because my camera dates and times are messed up. According to the file info, this all happened at 3:30 AM.
And I can assure you, the only thing that happened at 3:30 AM was deep, deep sleep. Unless maybe The Spam was up to pee.
I love the pictures from this beach day.
Even though the water seemed to steadily be getting less of the pretty blue it's supposed to be and more brown.
Staying hydrated has never been messier.
We did some sand castle building this day, too.
I love these two of the the boys. Maybe because of the beautiful beach houses in the background? (We're staying in one of those houses this year!!!) Have I mentioned I wish I lived there?
And it's all fun and games until someone gets sand in their eyes.
But the sand never bothered JJ. Nothing about the ocean bothered him. I will take him to live by the ocean with me.
